Terms of Service

These Terms govern organizer, donor, administrator, and visitor use of the Rally Roster fundraising platform.

Effective date: July 13, 2026

1. Rally Roster’s role

Rally Roster provides software that allows sports organizations, teams, and authorized organizers to create fundraising campaigns, accept payments, track athlete attribution, and manage refunds.

Rally Roster is not the team, campaign organizer, charitable recipient, tax adviser, financial adviser, or guarantor of any campaign. Campaign funds are processed for the connected team or organization through Stripe.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Organizer and administrator accounts are intended for adults who have authority to act for the relevant team or organization. You must provide accurate account information and protect your login credentials.

You may not create an account for another person without authority, impersonate another organization, or use Rally Roster for unlawful or misleading activity.

3. Organizer responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate campaign, team, athlete, and fundraising information.
  • Having authority to raise and receive funds for the stated purpose.
  • Using funds consistently with the campaign description and applicable law.
  • Obtaining any required team, school, league, parent, or guardian permission before publishing an athlete’s name, image, or other information.
  • Responding to donor questions and making lawful, good-faith refund decisions.
  • Meeting tax, registration, charitable-solicitation, accounting, and reporting obligations that apply to the organization.

4. Donations, payments, and fees

When a donor submits a payment, the donor authorizes the selected contribution amount to be charged through Stripe.

Rally Roster currently deducts a five percent platform fee from the contribution. Stripe processing fees are also deducted from the funds delivered to the team. The donor is charged the donation amount selected at checkout unless an additional amount is clearly shown before payment.

Payment completion, settlement, availability, payout timing, disputes, and chargebacks may be affected by Stripe, card networks, banks, account verification, and applicable law.

5. Tax treatment

A Rally Roster contribution is not automatically tax-deductible. Deductibility depends on the legal and tax status of the organization receiving the funds and the donor’s individual circumstances.

Rally Roster does not provide tax advice or represent that any campaign qualifies to receive deductible charitable contributions. Donors should consult the recipient organization, the IRS, or a qualified tax professional.

6. Refunds and disputes

Refund eligibility is governed by the Rally Roster Refund Policy and the organizer’s lawful decision. Refund requests are not guaranteed.

Stripe’s original processing fee may remain charged after a refund. When a refund is issued through Rally Roster, Rally Roster’s platform fee is returned in full for a full refund or proportionally for a partial refund.

A chargeback or payment dispute is separate from a voluntary refund. Rally Roster and the receiving organization may provide payment, campaign, and communication records to Stripe, card networks, or financial institutions when responding to a dispute.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Rally Roster to:

  • Commit fraud, misrepresent a campaign, or divert funds from the stated purpose.
  • Violate payment-network, sanctions, anti-money laundering, privacy, intellectual-property, or consumer-protection laws.
  • Harass, exploit, endanger, or publish unauthorized information about a minor.
  • Interfere with platform security, access another user’s data, or attempt to bypass authorization.
  • Use automated systems to scrape, overload, probe, or attack the service.

8. Campaign content

Organizers retain ownership of content they upload, but grant Rally Roster permission to host, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the applicable campaign.

Rally Roster may remove content or restrict a campaign when reasonably necessary for safety, suspected fraud, legal compliance, payment risk, or violation of these Terms.

9. Suspension and termination

Rally Roster may suspend or terminate access, campaign activity, refunds, or administrative privileges when an account presents fraud, security, payment, safety, or legal risk.

10. Service availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Rally Roster does not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular fundraising result, campaign success, payout timing, or availability of any third-party service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rally Roster is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost donations, lost profits, organizer misuse, donor decisions, or failures caused by Stripe, banks, networks, internet providers, or other third parties.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes

Rally Roster may update these Terms. The effective date displayed above identifies the current version. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
