1. Information we collect
Rally Roster may collect:
- Account information, including name, email address, role, authentication identifiers, and account status.
- Team and campaign information, including names, logos, locations, campaign descriptions, goals, dates, and organizer contact information.
- Athlete information supplied by authorized adults, including name, photograph, fundraising goal, and campaign attribution.
- Donor information, including name, email address, donation amount, public-display preference, and encouragement message.
- Payment records, including Stripe identifiers, status, fees, refunds, disputes, and reconciliation information.
- Technical and security information, such as browser information, device data, logs, timestamps, and suspected abuse.
Rally Roster uses Stripe-hosted checkout and does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe independently processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices.
2. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Operate campaigns and process donations.
- Attribute donations to a team or athlete.
- Send donation, refund, organizer, security, and account communications.
- Calculate fundraising totals, fees, refunds, and campaign proceeds.
- Prevent fraud, investigate abuse, enforce platform rules, and protect users.
- Comply with legal, tax, payment-network, and regulatory obligations.
- Improve platform reliability, accessibility, and performance.
3. Public campaign information
Campaign, team, and athlete information intentionally published by an organizer may be visible publicly.
When a donor chooses public display, the donor’s name and encouragement message may appear on public campaign pages. When public display is turned off, Rally Roster displays the donor anonymously or omits the donor’s identity from the public page.
Authorized organizers and platform administrators may still see private donor and transaction information needed to operate, reconcile, refund, and protect the campaign.
4. Children and youth athlete information
Rally Roster accounts, campaign management, and payment submission are intended for adults. Children under 13 should not create accounts or submit donor, payment, or contact information directly.
Adult organizers may submit information about youth athletes. The organizer represents that they have authority and any required parent, guardian, school, league, or team permission to provide and publicly display that information.
A parent or guardian who believes a child’s information was posted without authorization may contact Rally Roster to request review or removal.
5. How information is shared
Information may be shared with:
- The team, organization, or authorized campaign managers receiving or administering the donation.
- Stripe and related financial institutions for payments, payouts, refunds, disputes, identity verification, and fraud prevention.
- Hosting, database, authentication, email, security, analytics, and technical-service providers.
- Government agencies, courts, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the service.
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of platform assets.
Rally Roster does not sell donor payment information.
6. Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts and campaigns, maintain financial and refund records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with law, and enforce agreements.
Some payment and transaction records may need to be retained after an account or campaign is closed.
7. Security
Rally Roster uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security.
8. Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about Rally Roster’s use of your personal data.
Rally Roster may need to verify identity and may retain information that must be kept for legal, security, payment, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.
9. Policy changes
Rally Roster may update this Policy as the platform, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
